The Tail Wagz Therapy Dogs project is managed by Professional Dog Trainer Kelly Fitzpatrick. Kelly has over 10 years working experience across a diverse range of training fields. Kelly has trained over 30 Therapy Dog Handlers as well as having experience with training personal Therapy Dogs. She also has experience training formal obedience, running group classes, providing training demonstrations to large groups, odour imprinting, detection, tracking and indication, providing educational workshops, working 1:1 with pet owners, and was also the Trainer of the Therapy Dog Team for Variety - The Children’s Charity from 2016-2017, providing visits to Special Schools, Nursing Homes, Aged Care Facilities, Day Care Centres, Corporate Offices and events.
